Your Tasks:
You ensure the legal compliance and supervision of all export, import and customs-related matters worldwide. Moreover, you take the overall responsibility for customs and AEO-F at all German sites as well as export control.
- Advisory of all departments and sites of PI regarding customs and export-related topics
- Monitor and ensure compliance with customs and foreign trade regulations
- Coordinate, manage and review export-import handlings
- Monitor, optimize and reapply for all existing approvals and certificates
- Overall responsibility for preferential rights at PI Karlsruhe, PImicos as well as PIC and across the PI Group
- Review export transactions requiring permission and submit BAFA applications
- Monitor changes in legal export regulations and support the operational implementation
- Revise documentations, check processes and contracts, develop guidelines as well as procedures and conduct training sessions
Your Profile:
You possess an excellent ability to quickly and thoroughly understand complex matters to assess them in terms of customs and export-relevant operational processes.
- Completed commercial apprentice, ideally with further education in the field of export and customs
- Experience in import and export as well as customs, ideally in the defence sector
- Knowledge of compliance regulations concerning dual use items and high common priority goods
- Profound expertise in customs law, export control law as well as preferential law
- Comprehensive knowledge of customs and foreign trade regulations and restrictions
- Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to work with an international team
