The V-102 QuickScan Voice-Coil Scanning and Positioning system is designed for applications where conventional leadscrew drives are too slow and piezoelectric drives do not offer sufficient travel. The voice-coil-driven QuickScan reaches velocities up to 150 mm/sec over a range of 5 mm and works best with loads of less than 100 grams.

Absolute Position Sensors
The scanning stages are equipped with absolute (not relative) LVDT position sensors. They are driven by a digital servo-controller with IEEE 488, RS-232 and analog interfaces (a PC plug-in controller is available as part number V-106). A mounting plate and user-friendly Windows™ operating software are included in the system.
